Description
The Solé Power Tile™ enables homeowners and building owners with mission-style roof systems the opportunity to reap the benefits of solar power without compromising curb appeal.
The Solé Power Tile is a building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roof tile, designed for seamless integration with US Tile's mission-style roofing products. Unlike solar panels that are installed on top of your roof, the Solé system is an integral component of the roofing system. Engineered for the harsh roofing environment, Solé provides the protection of a premium roofing product while reducing your energy bills and increasing resale value.
The lightweight and glass-free Solé Power Tile installs in the same manner as its clay tile counterparts and without the added expense of mounting hardware. Only Solé Certified professionals can sell and install a Solé system, ensuring our high quality standards are upheld in the field.
SRS Energy rigorously tests the Solé Power Tile under harsh conditions for durability, including long-term UV stability, color fastness, wind resistance, electrical output, safety, and extreme mechanical stresses.
SRS Energy proudly manufactures the Solé Power Tile in the USA.

System Integration

The Solé Power Tile system was designed to integrate with US Tile's clay tile, an inherently sustainable roof product. Clay tile roofing systems are produced from raw materials that do not dilute or harm our natural resources. They are valued for their aesthetic appeal and superior durability. US Tile maintains a zero waste facility and all of their products can be reused or recycled at the end of their life.
US Tile's Cool Roof products not only beautify and protect a home or building but reduce its energy needs as well. It is estimated that a US Tile Cool Roof can reduce heating and cooling requirements by 5-20 percent. US Tile offers more Cool Roof colors than any other manufacturer in the nation, with no paints, dyes, or special coatings. US Tile is also the only clay tile manufacturer in the U.S. to obtain a Cradle to Cradle designation for environmental excellence.
One method of rating the environmental design of "green buildings" is the the use of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) point accrual. The LEED rating system was developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as a means to educate, evaluate, and reward sustainable design and construction. As an integrated system, a Solé powered US Tile roof offers more LEED credits than any other steep-slope roofing product available.
